BETHLEHEM UNITED METHODIST CHURCH PRESCHOOL
Hello Families!  During this unique and uncertain time, we want to let you know that we are having a wonderful school year!   Our staff and preschool board have laid the groundwork for a successful  2020-2021 school year for your little learner.  While the virus is causing concern,  you will see some changes to our pick up and drop off procedures and a limited amount of folks admitted into our  preschool wing.  We will continue with our stringent cleaning procedures that are already being used at Bethlehem Preschool. Classroom visits might look different this year to avoid large gatherings in the classrooms.   Policies have been updated and  adjusted to ensure the safety of our students, their families and staff. The safety and emotional well being of our students are very important to us and will continue to be our first concern.

Check out our Health and Safety Plan and School Handbook under the Policies and Handbook tab found below.
If you have questions, please contact Miss Trish.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
AND PHILOSOPHY

Bethlehem United Methodist Church Preschool provides a quality education in   a dynamic Christian environment. We believe that our role as a school is to   partner with  the  family and church to help in the education of the  whole child,  socially, physically, emotionally,  intellectually, and spiritually.

As a Christian school, we provide a safe, loving  environment.
Our program is based on the following  truths:
  • God has created each child uniquely in His image and has given that child special talents which should be developed and enhanced in a manner that glorifies God.
  • A well-structured and fully planned program of activities. The STEAM Process is the foundation of all of our classes (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math). In addition, music, field trips, resource people, literature, problem solving, creative  play and exercise is utilized to encourage the development of the whole child.

The beginning of a new school year is a thrilling time for any  family with school-age children. So much is   new. So much is filled with hope of growth and the joy of learning.

The Staff of the Pre-School, the Pre-School Board and the people of Bethlehem Church are eager to welcome you to what will prove to be an exciting school year.

We count it a very real privilege to partner with you at this stage of your child’s development and want you to know  that we will sustain the staff and children with our prayers that your child will grow in wisdom and in stature.

In the love of Christ,

Pastor Roger Mentzer
